Rua 25 de Março
This wholesale shopping district is where locals come to discount shop. Crowded and chaotic, shop owners come from far and wide to buy from shops on this street and the side streets surrounding it. Although most stores sell in bulk, many sell to consumers also. You can find products such as clothes, shoes, bags, toys and electronics. A lot of shops only take cash and have no facilities for trying on clothes. Take care of your belongings as pick pocketing is frequent.
